Returning Wild

Dear Cynthia,

I deeply deeply love your “Ode to Pelvic Bowl”! It is so profound, deep, vulnerable, and healing. As I have been on this journey, I am finding that all of those words are also true of our pelvic bowls. This space in us is a deep chasm of glory, sacred, creative birth, and sanctuary. Believe me, these are not words I was using to describe my vagina and uterus only a few months ago. But this Wild Feminine adventure has made me a believer of honoring the sacredness of what it means to be a woman.

My time with Tami Lynn Kent, was profound in so many ways. She spoke truth- with kindness and honor. She invited me into more of myself and to let go of what has not helped me and has not been mine to hold. Many times she was able to intuite things before I even put words to them. The Spirit was present and active. As I left, I felt lighter and yet more full, more true to who I am and who I am becoming, and clearer about my voice, my boundaries.

Scripture says that God lives and dwells in us. This truth has always been one that has brought comfort and wonder. But now, it has taken on new meaning to me. That the Spirit lives in all of us and specifically in our womb. It is said that the womb is the passageway between the Spirit realm and the physical. The womb is where the Spirit lives and creates both babies and dreams. For me, it has helped to give me a specific place to imagine God. A specific place to meditate and listen. It brings alive the fact that we are made in the image of God and bear Her likeness and Her very being inside of us.

I am back again in Portland, open to receiving- my heart, my body, my bowl and especially my left ovary is open to receive. ;) Cheers to the Wild Feminine in each of us!

I love being on this journey with you. Having you in my house last week, was sweet and now I miss you even more.
